The largest terrestrial carnivores in the world. Teddy bear polar bear and kodiac bear. The largest terrestrial carnivores are the polar bear (Ursus maritimus) and the Kodiak bear, a subspecies of the brown bear. Since their body sizes are roughly the same, it is not clear that the bear is ultimately larger. Their height exceeds 1.6 meters, and the total length reaches 3 meters. The heaviest of the recorded specimens of white and brown bears weighed 1,003 kg and 1,135 kg, respectively.
