Legend has it that once upon a time, in the middle of a fairytale castle, two children of a king lived: a boy and a girl. Unfortunately, when the children turned 10, the king's daughter fell ill and died. The boy, who was very fond of his sister, from whom he was inseparable, began to cry then and could not stop. Then, his tears turned into little white flowers, which fell over all the valleys and gardens where the two princes had been playing until then. The flowers born from his tears got the name of lily of the valley.
