Sea ribbon This fish lives in almost all oceans, except polar waters. It is known as the longest fish in the world, which from birth will grow to about 11 m in length. Also known as the "big snake", the treatment is like a long ribbon with a spine running from the eye to the tip of the tail. Although the fish remain far below the surface, from 20 m to 1000 m, in recent years we have seen facts swimming in California, Mexico and the Philippines or even washed ashore.
