The island. This island near the coast of Birări entered history thanks to a single story. In 1945, after a bloody battle with the British, about 400 Japanese fighters retreated to the lagoons that furrowed the coast of the island, where they were attacked by saltwater crocodiles. In the Guinness Book of Records, this event is called "the greatest harm caused to humans by animals".
