Velociraptor was an animal of medium height, having a length of 2m, a height of 0.5m and a weight of only 15kg. The skull, with a length of 25 cm, has a unique shape, concave on the upper surface and convex on the lower one. The jaws are equipped with 26-28 teeth on each side, they are slightly separated, making the difference only those in the front which are supposed to have adapted to the needs of capturing and holding struggling prey. It had a flat beak like a duck and claws like a chicken. The tail was as long as a rudder, helping him to keep his direction. The locomotive was made on two short legs. It is said with certainty that it would have been one of the fastest dinosaurs, reaching a speed of 60 km/h over short distances. Like other animals of its species, Velociraptor had a hand-like upper limb with three claws similar to those of today's birds. In 2007, paleontologists discovered new, well-preserved Velociraptor tracks that confirm the presence of feathers.
