Arrage - marriage In islam: **Marriages** in **Islam are** often assisted or **arranged** (by the two families of the bride and groom) but these **can** only take place with the consent of both parties. If someone was forced to **marry**, then the **marriage would** be invalid.

Al-Quran : **Forced marriage** has no place in **Islam** because A **forced marriage** is not acceptable or valid, according to the **Qur'an**. The Prophet (peace be upon him) **said** that the consent of a bride is a prerequisite to the validity of the marital contract.
