Floods Everywhere

It's a Friday and thank God I am feeling better. If yesterday feels like so heavy, now I feel light and better.

For the past weeks, news seems to be about floods not just here in my country but other countries too.

Lately, when a heavy downpour will occur, we expect that some places in our province get soaked and flooded around. Just like the incident last week that I saw on facebook how someone be washed away with the floods. The floodwater seems so angry as it brings some belonging and a person. Out of the two incident, the other one survive and the one did not. Sad but true.

Common cause of floods in the city are the clogged garbages everywhere.

Yes, garbage not properly dispose are the main cause of flooding in our city. Each time, a heavy downpour of rain, the city will be flooded so as chest high or wait high. Imagine, even some light vehicles cannot pass. We as a citizen too have a responsibility. If we start to be responsible on our garbage disposal, at least we can lessen to make some streets to be flooded easily. Because last week, afternthe floodwater goes down, what was left are all garbages like plastic bottles.

Do we have to suffer and experience the flood always? Do we have to wear our boots always? Of course, nobody likes, do you know someone who likes to flood always?

As I was seeing the news again this afternoon, another flooded city with all the traffic and stranded ones. Not again, what actions needs to be done? If the government cannot have a faster way to solution flooding, perhaps we as a citizen can be responsible and spread some helpful tips to others. To others, they will just murmur and some may agree too. We really cannot expect everybody to please us but at least we tried.

Do you want another flooded day? Floods that we experience everytime a heavypour cannot be predict but the proper segregation of waste can help lessen it. Imagine, if those plastics bottles be dispose properly, the drainage or canal can let the flood water pass continuously and the streets wont be flooded anymore.

Let us all be a responsible citizen all over the world. This might not be my country's problem only and perhaps to some too. Thus let us help in our own little ways and somehow hit it big for the outcome of it.
