Recently I switched from St. Faustina's diary to St. Therese of Lisieux's (The Story of a Soul) because somehow some of the entries are not easy to understand. Probably because she is waaaay holier than me. So now after checking on the latter I found this on YouTube: https://youtu.be/nC3IS689QdI?si=7z7z2e5ORpjdlnZK Well finally that answered my question on suffering. From what I understand, she says God's love can purify us more than our suffering. Oh now that sounds so much better right? Next thing I watched is this one: https://youtu.be/YhKPlRTVlzU?si=y7f50m-Q4XtbpxLU Oh boy, definitely made me realize how I'm still so far away from even hoping to be a holy person. 😂 I can't die yet knowing how I am still so sinful even if I have reduced my sinful ways a bit more since Lent. To sum it up, Fr. Mike says it so well: https://youtu.be/KHYO4qW47x0?si=w34VDJl9Mcb1w2pn Don't be discouraged about how sinful we are. God is still there for us. He loves us so much and longs for all of us to be with Him in Heaven. ❤️ (Screenshot from YouTube)
