I am sad to wake up to the news that renowned writer Lualhati Bautista has passed away. Just last night I was able to watch an interview of Suzette Doctolero (one of the writers of Maria Clara at Ibarra) by Howie Severino. In it she mentioned how mam Lualhati was one of the reasons she became a writer. If not for her and the inspiration she gave to other writers we would not have enjoyed many movies and TV shows. Thank you for your legacy mam. May you rest in peace. 😢 🙏 🕯
