One should know how to fix a punctured tyre. It doesn’t matter whether you are a man or a woman, you need to learn it. It's not that easy but it’s not that tough too. An extra tyre will help you in an awkward situation but if you can't repair the tyre by replacing the punctured one with the new one, it will be more embarrassing. Learn it from the elders. They will happily teach you.
