Please pay attention at your Health

What you put into your body, mind, and spirit determines how well you feel on a day-to-day basis. 

Each individual has a unique style of expressing what they require. Your willingness to listen is the first step in responding to this need. 

You may notice dry mouth, skin, or eyes; lack of energy; an increased heart rate; headache; nausea, or dizziness, for example, when your body tells you it's thirsty. When it comes to making a decision, the ability to choose is one of the few things we have in life. When we're pressed for time, it's tempting to overlook our bodies' urges and signals. Chronic dehydration, which can lead to a host of other issues if ignored, can worsen the symptoms, but that's not the only concern with disregarding the symptoms.

As ego and self-talk (Oh, I can do it later) encourage you to ignore messages, that state of developing a new normal that feeds on itself and makes it simple to appear that there is no need at all. Parts of the body that aren't working as well as they should send new signals. As an example, your kidneys and liver require adequate fluid levels to flush toxins from your system. If you don't get enough fluids, you may experience pain, develop kidney stones, or experience any number of other symptoms that may lead you to seek medical treatment for symptoms that don't seem to be related to chronic dehydration but can manifest in a variety of ways. 

I just use these examples to show what can happen if you don't pay attention to your own body, mind, and spirit's messages about what they require. As a result, you may be ignoring your body's simple requirements, which can have a cumulative effect on your health and well-being if you don't pay attention to them. 

As an alternative to ignoring your body's whispers, you may write them all down on a list and think about them later: what your body, mind, and spirit are saying to you; how you respond and why; the health consequences of those responses; and whether there is anything you'd like to do differently. If you're unsure of the message's meaning, it's a good idea to look it up. Making the practice of listening to yourself and ignoring the external forces that seem to keep you from reacting is the first and most crucial step. 

So, just as there is a penalty for ignoring thirst, rejecting your body's request for rest will have an effect over time. In order to maintain good health, you must learn to listen to and respond to your own needs, no matter how great the external demands may be. As a result of this focus, health radiates from within you. What are your priorities?
