The curse of NFTs Speculation in the art world is a common phenomenon. It happens when prestigious galleries auction some artworks at a pumped price for reasons that have nothing to do with their value as masterpieces. The most representative case is Savator Mundi, attributed to Da Vinci, which became the most expensive painting in the world, not because it was the best or most valuable, but because it was to serve as an attraction for the inauguration of the Louvre Museum in Abu Dhabi. NFT based artworks have inherited the same curse. In addition, there are other problems such as theft, forgery and the absolute lack of talent of peolpe pretending to be 'artists'. It is time to claim a new meaning for NFT: No Fake Talent.
