My smartwatch and my smartphone talk about me without my knowing it! #Cinema #Technology #Dystopias Last morning, I woke up with a message on my smartphone: ‘Your smartwatch wants to sync with your phone - sync now?’ So, I’m pretty sure about they talk about me without my knowing it. This month of Oscars and applause (in Chris Rock's face), I started thinking about movies that present us with undesirable technological futures. There are so many! So I've decided to start a small series of articles on read.cash exploring the links between technological development and movies that describe dystopian futures. Most of them seem to be between two great works: Orwell’s 1984 and Huxley’s A Brave New World.
