With the new update Evermore officially entered it's Christmas season. The new episode is called The Wishing Tree. Like the previous episodes we need to clear the related quest to earn the exclusive reputation points. Usually, this type of quest doesn't take too much time but that didn't mean that we have to be comfortable because it will be a hassle if we let it stack. Trust me, I already experienced it from the previous ones.

We started the quest with Sona. Among all the NPCs in Evermore I think she's one that we have the least interaction with. We do some occasional trade with her sister Marina to sell items for Money Ma's vouchers but we rarely use her services. The quest given was for us to visit the Wishing Tree for her and the other resident NPCs of Evermore and make a wish for them. Jackson's helmet was emphasized in the conversation. I wonder if there is something going on between the two. She then referred to us Sanson and Tumba.

I'd say that Jackson is really lucky even Sanson's wish was for him. It's a simple wish is for Jackson to eat less meat. The younger brother's build is more buffed and muscular than Sanson but it was revealed that he is not very healthy. I was caught off guard by the wish of our reliable blacksmith as it was for us. That was really cheesy but thanks Tumba.

After doing the first line of quests related to the Wishing Tree I finally got the gist of it. There are actually two trees present. The bigger is located in Evermore's central plaza surrounded by the wishing well. It turned out that like the well we need to toss coins to get the presents. Also, there are only limited tries everyday so be mindful as you can easily miss it. The Wishing Tree in the plaza is a server quest and contributions come in the form of Snow Higgledy's Rich Fertilizer. There's limit of 400 which can take a couple of hours depending on the hunting site. But I do recommend staying with the Chaos Fields cause it's more efficient since the EXP and gold drops there are really good.

It's been so long since we really entered our Familiar Forest. I bet it's not solely applicable to us and having a separate wishing tree might also be the intention of the developers since this feature is often left out. The farm friends from the previous episodes make harvesting and watering the crops a lot easier so players just need to supply them tokens or food items for them to do the work until the items were fully consumed.

Like the tree in Evermore plaza this one required fertilizer to unlocks it's perks. In this case ornamental slots. Ornaments can be dropped from the presents and other quest related items. There are also varying grades and right now what we have are only a couple of 1-star ones. As the episode progress we'd have a chance to get 2-star ornaments but 3-star ones seem to be impossible as we have to upgrade the episode pass for $20. We'd stick with free so yeah it's expected that we won't get those 3-star ones this time.

Just to remind you the fertilizer used in the Familiar's forest wishing tree is different. It's 'growth' fertilizer not the 'rich' one we used in the plaza. It's also rare since it can only be obtained from the medal shop. Snow Higgledy's Blessing is needed and it's farmable the only catch is that there's a daily limit of 140 pieces so good luck.

Right now we only have 4 decorations and all of them are 1-star. We are still not venturing the Episode dungeon so hopefully we get better drops there to decorate this wishing tree. It's now in tier 2 but what's the use if we lack even 1-star decorations to put on it. I'll update you sooner about the dungeon drops so stay tuned if you are plating the game.

This will be goodbye for now. Happy Holidays and stay safe everyone.
