Dessert rose or Impala lily. It is also known as Adenium obesum in the world of science. This plant is often mistaken to be called in the Philippines as "kalachuchi" perhaps due to the shape of its flowers however, kalachuchi is a tree with scented flowers that have white and yellow combination while Impala lily is a shrub with pink unscented flowers. These plants belongs to Apocynaceae family and they both have toxic characteristics and/or have poisonous parts.

A taste of fatirah. Thought that this is just an ordinary pancake the first time I saw this food posted in noise.cash by our friends from the Middle East as well as from Pakistan. Out of curiosity, I browsed it on Google and learned that this is is an African breakfast staple that is also a popular Ethiopian street food, often served with honey for dipping and ideally, paired with a cup of coffee but since I am not used to drinking hot beverage on a hot Philippine weather, I choose to drink iced tea instead. This was from The Biryani Station located at Tanqui, San Fernando City, La Union, Philippines.

Practical dine-in. Do NOT post foods if the intent is just to brag. Instead, we should post them to bring some sort of positive effect to people. Just like what I did recently. Originally, I plan to treat my youngest daughter to have a cool dessert at a halo-halo outlet. But, instead I shifted our destination to Alab Lechon after I realized that we don't have viand for lunch and this roasted chicken is the right choice because this is already enough to serve a family with five members so indeed I bought the stuff instead of buying two glass of halo-halo that is only good for two people which costs almost the same with this roasted chicken. That's practical, isn't it?🤗♥️👍

Nerium oleander (commonly known as South Sea rose; rose laurel; and rose bay) Pretty (but deadly) in pink. That's how I describe this shrub or a small tree that have beautiful pink flowers because all parts of this plant from leaves, flowers, branches and twigs down to the roots are toxic due to the sap that is extracted from the plant . The debris from this plant, either fresh or already dry should be properly dispose and burning is NOT advisable because toxic fumes will come out from the smoke that can harm the respiratory system.

What a lovely afterglow! Again, I was not able to catch up with the actual sunset because I was in transit from home to work at that time but still a very rewarding photograph session I got due to this colorful afterglow I was able to have.

Happy #CATurday, Noisefam! Meet Minggay, the friendly cat owned by my neighbor. She usually roam at our yard to play with other cats. Sometimes she also climb trees and her favorite to hangout with is our moringa tree. That photograph I took is when she hides herself at a fallen branch that is nearly covered by sampaguita bushes when she sees me approached her. Perhaps she wanted to be captured through the lens in a different way, that is with some sort coverings as if she is playing hide and seek with me. That's all about this friendly cat, folks... Bridge amidst the foreglow of the rising sun on a cloudy morning. Good morning, #NoiseFam, let's have some kind of symbolism to start the day as I included subjects at the frame which connotes meaning either in literal and/or figurative sense. Let's start with the bridge, we all know that bridges are used to convey items in between gaps so this item will reach a certain point. Second is the cloudy sky which connotes obstacles or challenges. Third is the foreglow of the rising sun which symbolizes hope for a brighter day or the future. To sum it up, we, as humans should act as bridge to everything that manifests an aura of positivism so that there will be a brighter day ahead no matter how life can become challenging for us to live. Until then and let's now have a cup of hot coffee to kick that drowsiness away.🤗♥️☕👍

"Campfire’s burning, campfire’s burning, Draw nearer, draw nearer. In the gloaming, in the gloaming, Come sing and be merry..." The girl scouts had encircled the camp fire and about to sing that song when a guy from our neighborhood yelled, "Wait!" So the singing was stopped and the guy rushed to the campfire and immediately picked a bottle with gasoline that is about to be ignited by the flame. It turned out that the bottle of gasoline was used as a fire starter to light that ceremonial pile of wood and was carelessly left by someone. If the bottle of gasoline has not been noticed, it will explode and will send fragments of shrapnel in the air that will cause injuries and burns at these lovely young ladies and to the spectators as well. Thanks to the alertness of this guy who also happened to be at the scene to take care of his niece who is also a girl scout participating at the event. It's ironic that a drunk man of whom nearly mistook by people, who at first, think that he will distract the event will be the one to keep the girl scouts and the spectators free from harm. This occurence should teach us NOT to become to judgemental with anyone and we should NOT allow ourselves to become stereotypes of all sorts.

Lechon manok (Roasted chicken) from Alab Lechon from their second stall at Bacnotan, La Union, Philippines. Since I stayed at the shop to wait for my motorcycle to be fixed and don't have time to do some errands at home, my wife asked me, "How is it now, you don't have chopped wood to fuel our earthen stove and I don't have to anything to cook. We don't have money either because we spent it for your motorcycle to be fixed." I said she don't need to stress herself that much as I will buy something for us we can have lunch on time. So we went down town right away and have my third order of roasted chicken using some of my earnings from the Noise platform. DISCLAIMER: This post is made NOT to brag but to inspire people. A vibrant afterglow that coincides with the lunar eclipse.I thought that I will be just posting an ordinary afterglow as I missed to photograph the actual sunset once again. It turned out that a lunar eclipse will occur tonight and I can say that this afterglow is a remarkable one for me. I chose not to post the lunar eclipse here in my newsfeed as my phone didn't have the capacity to capture such kind of phenomenon, let's leave the matter for those who have hi-tech gadgets.🤗
