Yup, and it's best to buy them directly to the fishermen if the middlemen are not yet around because most of the middlemen are greedy, they won't buy the fish from the fishermen once they saw that people are buying from the fishermen.
I like when I see that people know that they have to work to be able to feed themselves. Also I like it more when I see them go early to accomplish their mission
