Sharing one of my remarkable find since I learned to photograph macro shots and this is a red nosed cicada (Huechys sanguinea). Got that while me and my buddy rested near a towering rain tree along the river bank after we are done with our morning walk.

Is it live in the dry or wet place? Looks so different fly when compare to others.
Not a fly... This is a cicada or what we call as "kuliglig" in Tagalog.
Live in bushy or shrubby moist places, I think. It's my first time to see such species of cicada.
I think that is a harmful insect.
Harmful in the sense that when their population exceeded, cicadas will become pests, they feed by means of sucking the sap of young trees.
