There's more than meet the eye. Thought that I already have this in my files because I mistook this as a green bottle fly or a hoverfly species but not until I took a closer look and noticed those remarkable stripes on its eye which give it as a distinctive feature that this insect is not yet in my files and I found out that this insect is a species of a horsefly.
