Whose Santa are You?

What comes to your mind when you're asked the above question?

Are you surprised or shocked?

Oh! You're thinking of Santa as one old man with white hair and heavy beards, wearing red coat and boot sharing gifts here and there and laughing heavily hohoho!

Is that what you think of Santa?

Do you think Santa as one Angel from heaven whose duty is to throw down gifts to people through chimneys?

Santa, no doubt, has become one of the most popular names we hear during Christmas, not because he's the reason for the season but because of the role he plays he has even become more popular and mentioned more than the reason- Jesus Christ

Who is this Santa?

Why is Santa so popular?

The answers are simple

Santa did simple things in an extra ordinary way. Saint Nicholas was a monk born in Turkey, he gave a better part of his life to charity.

He never hesitated to give or to help people in need irrespective of their religion or relationship with him. He was just a giver who have everything at any given time.

St Nicholas continued to give and help the poor and needy in the society that people began to associate that name with giving even after his death

Till date, he is remembered and honoured every 6th December, his death day and he is also celebrated every Christmas, the only major thing he did was to give and help people

Nowadays, people always expect gifts and help from others and if they don't get it, they begin to feel bad. Some people keep waiting for Santa to give to them even when they can be the Santa

There are a lot of people around us who are in need of one thing or the other that we can afford, why not be their Santa?

It's all about love and sharing, go out there today and be a Santa to someone; Give to people that are in need, restore people's joy and hope.

You never know how much and how far a single act of kindness shown towards your neighbour can go.

Be someone's Santa today
