Few architectural shots from a winter travel to the old town of Kotor in Montenegro. It is a beautiful country that isn't a member of EU yet, but the official currency is the EUR, strange, don't you think? :))) #PhotographersOnNoiseCash

I think that the European Union is not at all opposed to making another country dependent on their money :)) Do I understand correctly that you used a wide angle lens for these photos?
Actually I am a big fan of the Euro as my country would have been very, very poor if it wasn't for the European Economic Area and the bond of our local currency with it. We don't use it yet but I hope we implement it soon. Yes, you're right, for those shots I used my 16-35 mm lens on full-frame body :)
The EU economy is a rather complex and controversial issue. On the one hand, they give donations, but on the other hand, they do not allow the local economy to develop and make them dependent on themselves. There is a rather cunning and insidious game going on there. And which manufacturer is your 16-35? I want to pick up some light "pill" for a full frame, but I have no experience in them. The 16-35 format is good, but I'm worried about the quality of the images. Now I'm in search))
Most of my equipment is Canon. All of the lenses I got from them are of great quality, never had a single problem, ever. I tested few Sigma Art lenses, exactly the half pf them had serious issues back then and the prices were not that different from the Canon lens sold here so I decided not to risk. The only lens by Sigma Art I liked a lot was 50mm f/1.4 but it was more expensive than the Canon equivalent. I have 16-35 L II, I hear mark III is much better but again the price is bigger too.
I use a SONY A7M2 camera Native lenses are the most expensive of all ...)) But thank God, there are now adapters from everything to everything. I even made several lenses myself from old projector lenses. I have Samyang 1.4-35, but it is heavy enough and not wide enough for some purposes. I want to pick up a small "pancake" that you can carry in your pocket, but which is very good at the same time. While I am analyzing what is available on the market. 16-35 is a very convenient range, I will check it
I know few great landscape and travel photographers who use Sony bodies with Canon lenses, they say that's the best combination in the last few years. I am not sure about that though.
Everything is possible, here you have to try and compare. They may have their own opinion on this issue :)
It was a technical stuff, some filter missing on the Sony full-frame bodies that is "a problem on Canon bodies" in their opinion. I am happy with the quality of my 5D Mark III though :)
There is an opinion that you can shoot beautifully only with a cool photo technique ... a good photographer will take a cool picture with the help of a beer can, just pierce the bottom of it and put it in place of the lens. The whole clue to the mystery is inside the head. Photography is taken not by a technician, but by a photographer. But sometimes you want to have more different possibilities. The 5D Mark III is a good professional DSLR. It provides any shooting opportunities, and then ... the head again))
Absolutely! That reminds me that I really have few solargraphy photographs to scan that I actually made with beer cans, hehhe :) Have you seen any of mine? Most of them are 9-12 months of exposure time :D
