Bulgaria is a small country, a member of EU since 2007. Unfortunately, since then, we are still the poorest EU country. Nevertheless, we have our victories and successes. Today, the first medal from Tokyo 2020 Olympics, won by Antoaneta Kostadinova, her first Olympic Silver at 10m Air Pistol. Huge congratulations to her! Considering that our government doesn't give much money to support our sports and even less to support our arts and culture, that is a tremendous success! So today, to celebrate this event I am sharing with you a photo I took of a classical old Bulgaria street with two-story-houses from the old quarter of Plovdiv, a European Culture Capital of 2019 ;)

Wonderful geometry and very atmospheric. I love these streets, the spirit of Time lives there :) \\ Замечательная геометрия и очень атмосферно. Люблю такие улочки, там живёт дух Времени :)
When you come to Bulgaria, it would be my pleasure to bring you to this amazing old quarter of the city :)
It is the old quarters of the cities that interest me the most. After all, they used to build it somehow ... tastier :) Thank you for the invitation, maybe someday this will happen. But judging by the latest world events, it won't be soon :) // Именно старые кварталы городов вызывают у меня наибольший интерес. Всё-таки раньше строили как-то...вкуснее :) Благодарствую за приглашение, может быть когда-нибудь такое и произойдёт. Но судя по последним мировым событиям, это будет не скоро :)
Я надеюс что это будет скоро :)
