Rattan Fruit Anyone who knows this fruit?? Not so famous and we seldom see them on fruits stand/stores.. The taste is more on sour than its sweetness but these fruits are good if they are preserved in sugar and water. We call them littuko in Ilocano dialect but this fruit is mostly sold or seen in Ifugao or Mountain provinces. I remember that my mother uses rattan fruit also in cooking paksiw na isda because of its sourness (unripe fruits) but these days, i only see such fruits when ever i go home to my town in Nueva Ecija or in Ifugao province.
