I built this large hill around 1993 / 1994 using Styrofoam, carved in the shape of a hill, with paint and grass flock. This particular grass flock is often called "Burnt Autumn". The small house came with the boxed edition of Warhammer Fantasy Battles 4th Edition. Part of the goal with such a large hill, is to allow a regiment of miniatures (archers) to be deployed on two ranks (one on top of the hill and one at the bottom). This way, all archers in the regiment can shoot the enemy as it approaches. #photography #artwork
