I think one day "performances" themselves will be NFT'd. I've followed the Starcraft II scene from a distance for years and I know many other esports and sport games are also huge. This synergy of Gaming / Sports / NFT / Betting, all in a decentralised manner is huge. Add to that the VR / augmented reality (metaverse) and the synergy will mature into an enormous market. X-Chain, X-Game, X-Player economies. Looking back at Diablo 3's failed RMAH, they could have solved it with an NFT model for items! So in the future, I think we'll see items being NFT'd to prevent duplication. Interesting times of evolution in the sports gaming world!
