I hope you are all having a Wonderful new start of the Year 2022! Those photos show one of the hills I built in 1993 along with the modular river that I showed previously and the little house. I wanted to get a variety of scenery to make the battlefields more interesting for games of Warhammer and Warhammer 40k. The little house was entirely built with cereal boxes, glue and paint. #photography #artwork #games
@Librarian in January 2022
A small rock built for scenery for the Warhammer 40k tabletop game. I built that one around 1994. I particularly like it as it allows a miniature to stand on top of it (even large miniatures) and also it looks kinda realistic with the angles. All of it was built with styrofoam and I probably used some wall plaster (wall filler). #photography #artwork #games
LEGO - Humble Beginnings (Intelli Gaming: Article) Long have I played with LEGO bricks of all kinds. That was a long time ago. But what stayed is the desire to imagine and build things around me. https://read.cash/@Librarian In this article, I want to take a good look at that wonderful game. There is much to cover since the company is international and has been around for many years. This is not an info-commercial or a publicity but more just an honest look at a good game.…
Another day, another fortification! Those fortifications were allegedly built by the forces defending Terra during the Horus Heresy, in the year 40000. We still have time to do artwork and scenery until we must defend Terra against Chaos! I hope you like these. #photography #artwork #games
LEGO - Humble Beginnings! This is my new article on Read.cash. It talks about this great game that is called LEGO. In this short part I article I look at the company, the origins, the founder, some observations in general. In Part II, I will then look at the new frontier for mankind: Space, as illustrated with LEGO bricks. read.cash/@Librarian/lego-humble-beginnings-c2e0cea5 I've been waiting for the last 5 hours for the community to approve the post. Today I present to you, Noise.cashers, the last of the fortification element of scenery. I also built that one in 1994. It uses the cardboard contents of the boxed Warhammer 40k set, which I then glued onto a thin layer of Styrofoam ("The platform"), which I then covered with grass flock after painting it green. The glue that I used is very common, also known as "white glue". Next I will show some more hills, another futuristic module, with one space marine and then I can…
LEGO - Inspiring Tomorrow (Intelli Gaming: Article) In Part II of my article (see Part I here), I look at the inspiration of LEGO towards the space frontier, as it is one subject that unites all of humanity towards a common goal: The exploration of space and the understanding of the universe. https://read.cash/@Librarian https://read.cash/@Librarian/lego-humble-beginnings-c2e0cea5 LEGO has for years made toys that makes us dream, which fuel our imagination to imagine what…

Why are my posts rejected from the Read.cash community? Who can I contact to rectify this?
It is frustrating to try and share things with Noise.cash when my posts are rejected by the admins of the Read.cash community. I have to double check my posts and then follow-up with the moderators (noise.cash/u/Parot) only to find out that they didn't approve it so by default it gets rejected. But plenty other articles make their way without problems. This is not the first time I'm having such problems on this platform. It's very frustrating. Space Marines agree with me: If…
LEGO - Inspiring Tomorrow Hey everyone! In this Part II of my article, I look at the inspiration to engineers, futurists, inventors, builders and software developers of tomorrow and how they can find inspiration with LEGO. https://read.cash/@Librarian/lego-inspiring-tomorrow-043f51e7 I hope this article doesn't get rejected (again) by the moderators of the channel (read.cash channel on Noise.cash). I just had to do 10 message exchanges with the user called "Parot" who did…
I was commenting on @Esmee's post about Betamars. I wanted to share this comment: "I think the scene is about to explode as game developers try to carve a niche in the coming years to have a bigger market share. I look at Axie Infinity (AXS) and let's not forget that it has a 4 Billion USD market cap... That's a lot of money for an online game! I mean compare that number with what Star Citizen got with their crowfunding (the biggest crowdfunding ever). I think it's about 400…
This shows the combination of various pieces of scenery together to create new ones. I built all of that in 1994. I used the small rock formation on the bigger hill. I also included a pose by a Space Marine from WH40k standing up on the rock. I designed the rocks specifically for that purpose. Everything is made with Styrofoam, white glue, green paint, grey paint, some sand and autumn burn grass flock. #photography #games #artwork
Hey Noise.cashers! Hope you're all doing great today! Here is my miniature of Abaddon the Despoiler, an evil character from Warhammer 40k. He's one of the bad guys and leads armies of chaos to decimate the galaxy. So I painted it in 1995 and also added some additional skulls on the base from skeletons that I had. For the uninitiated, the skulls that adorn his armour show both Space Marines and Tyrannids. As such, he has vanquished both Human opponents and a brood of…
A couple of scenery trees, and another, tree with a small rock. I think I showed these ones before but not those pictures. I am happy to share with you all! #photography #artwork
