Ever since, kahit po wala pa ang Covid- 19 pandemic. We already experienced a lot of diseases. Pero hindi naman po as in nakakahawa yun iba. So we just consider them normal diseases lang like cold, fevers at yung iba pa. Kaya kahit nung una pa ang health natin is kailangan po talagang alagaan ng mabuti.
So, my article for today is all about communicable diseases. What kind of diseases, the symptoms and safety tips.
What is a Disease
Disease
- Abnormal state or functioning of all part of the organism. It is also
- an alteration of the dynamic interaction between an individual and his environment.
- a communicable disease is a disease that can be transferred from the source to another
person.
Some signs of disease
- abnormal changes in temperature
- pulse rate, and
- respiratory rate
Symptoms
- pain and restlessness, through may be the same to all persons.
SORE EYES (Minsan po we call this pink eyes, red eyes0
- The surface of the eyeball under sides of the eyelids become inflamed
from the exposure to dust and germs.
- It is more commonly known as pink eye or sore
eye due to the redness, swelling, and yellow pus that come with it.
- In a new born baby, sticky eyes or yellow discharge from the eyes may not be due to sore eyes, but to a sexually transmitted disease
SYMPTOMS OF THE SORE
EYES SUCH AS:
- The eyes are very itchy.
- There could be redness in one or both eyes.
- Tearing (watering eyes).
- Mild pain could be felt.
- Uncomfortable gritty sensation.
- You feel uneasy when you see bright lights
- Yellow discharge (pus) from the eyes in the presence of the infection.
- Encrusted eyelids upon waking in the morning.
COMMON COLD
- A viral infection of the upper air passages, which causes the inflammation of
the mucous membranes lining of the nose and throat.
- begins in the nose and throat.
- A cold is easily spread via coughing or sneezing and by direct
contact.
- Other ways of catching colds are staying in very warm or cold rooms,
lack of outdoor exercise, poor diet including overeating sugary and fatty foods,
and having diseased of tonsils and adenoids.
Kadalasan po yung mga nakakaranas nito is yung mga low ristance po it because nakakapasok po yung virus sa katawan ng isang tao. Yung iba din po like my cousin, he has an allergic disorder of nose and throath po which cause also sa colds at iba pang infections.
SYMPTOMS THAT COULD BE FELT ARE:
- Malaise
- Congestion of the nasal passages
- Sneezing and severe throbbing headache
-- Cough
- Sore throat, hoarseness
- Congested runny nose
- Watery eyes
- Body aches
- Mild fever
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO
Yung magandang gawin po if ever nakakaexperince po kayo is rest po . Yun po yung pinaka effective treatment for severe colds po for me.
- A hot bath may help to relieve much of the congestion in the chest and nasal membrane
- Inhale steam to loosen nasal congestion and ease expulsion of mucus
- Symepre yung pag take din po ng damot at pag inom po ng madaming tubig.
- But if symptoms persist, consult na po kayo ng doctor.
CHICKENPOX
- A mild, highly contagious disease, which is affecting children
during their early years, but more severe in adults.
- Infections is easily spread via airborne ,droplets that are exhaled or
expelled like for example po yung pag ubo. Maaari pong hawaan yung mga taong malapit sayo.
SYMPTOMS
- It begins with a low - grade fever
- Severe itch
- Mild headache
- Feeling of weakness
- Runny nose
- Small teardrop shaped blister appears on the skin, mostly on the upper back or chest.
- In more severe cases, the face and extremities are also involved
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO
- Take a complete rest po until all blister have dried up.
- Bathe the skin daily with soap and warm water po. Keep your body clean po always
- You can also use po ng lotions or other powder that are helpful in controlling itching
- Take anti fever medicine for the fever; this will also take care of aches
- But kung malala na po always consult a doctor .
Closing Thought
Kahit saan po tayo mag punta o kahit anung gawin natin na pag iingat we cannot avoid po na magkaroon nito. So what’s the best po na gawin is mag ingat parin po tayo at dapat alam natin kung anu yung mga gagawin if ever ma experienced po natin. We need to have enough knowledge po in a certain disease po in order to survive. Because paano po natin magagamot yun disease if in the first place di po natin alam yung disease dba? Hehehe
Keep safe po sa lahat
