Some of arabian celebrate GERGIAN but mostly dont Gergian is on the 13th to 15th day of Ramadhan Kids knocking neighbour's house door and sing Gergian for the reward of chocolates,it doesn't mean that they cant afford to buy but its for fun I remember HALLOWEEN almost same as Gergian,knocking on doors for candies too Christmas too i guess its same,singing in neighbourhood's for Christmas carol and mostly candies for reward or some money Although i belong to Muslim believers but we dont celebrate Gergian
