PANDESAL ( Pan de sal ) Earlier this morning when Hubby arrived from work.I saw him carrying a plastic I thought angels burger is inside that because I requested it from him the other day. But when he handed it to me, it turned out to be inside the plastic a 15 pieces of pandesal for about $0.73 or 37.50php. To my dear noise friends, Pan de sal is a Filipino food. A kind of bread that usually eaten at breakfast. Pan de Sal or pandesal means salt bread in Spanish, it is the most popular bread in the Philippines which is made out of basic bread ingredients such as eggs, flour, sugar and salt. Acxording to my research the origin of Pan de sal means " salt bread in Spanish " and was introduced during the 16th century by Spanish bakers here in our country. A very flexible soft and semi sweet bread which can be accompanied by almost everything from sardines, jams, cheese or anything you want as fillings and of course filipinos favorite drink coffee . My son ate too much, and he can beat us, so that's all that's left in the picture. Good and I still remember the to take pictures of it before it runs out haha -- Did you already eat your breakfast? Whats your favorite fillings for pandesal?
