NFL Picks for the Super Bowl are here — IT'S FINALLY UPON US!
Welcome back to NFL Picks!
CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND WEEK SUMMARY
The Chiefs losing at home after a scorching hot start was mind-boggling. Really! I'm pretty sure a lot of people lost way too much money on that game. I'm still struggling to wrap my head around what happened on that day. They simply could not get out of their heads in the second half and the Cinderella Story continues for the Bengals. So we came out imperfect on Championship weekend.
After the SuperBowl, I'll bring the full breakdown of what happened during the season, with % of correct picks and money balance.
PICKS: 1 out of 2 (50% accuracy)
BALANCE: $20 placed - $15 as return = LOSS $5
How about the game against the market in the NFL PREDICTION GAME?
We got them! It wasn't pretty, but we got 'em due to me making the rash decision to push the second game slider all the way to LAR. ALMOST MADE EVERYTHING WORSE, not gonna lie! Haha
You'll see my "confidence sliders" for this week at the end of the post. Should we have any important adjustments between the time of the post and the start of the game, there will be a new post updating the situation.
NOW LET'S MOVE ON TO THE SUPER BOWL!

SUPER BOWL PICK
CIN @ LAR (I mean, LITERALLY AT THEIR HOME) - Winner: LAR (Odds: 1.45)
What could go wrong: Some 'unsung heroes' having the best game of their lives. Expected weather: DOME. Let's face it fellas: we all entertain the possibility that the underdog might come out on top. It's absolutely possible. It's just a 60-minute game, after all. That being said, you just can't overlook the fact that the Rams are better than the Bengals in basically every single phase of the game and 90% of all matchups. The one thing they might lack is LB prowess to stop the run if this run finds daylight and reaches second level. With the Bengals on offense, we have to expect a massive game from guys like Tyler Boyd, which certaily won't have Jalen Ramsey on his heel all night. Rams DL is much, much better than the Bengals OL, and they haven't played fantastic football against worse competition than the one they're facing this time around. With the Rams on offense, the trench domination continues: advanced metrics put the Rams OL at the top of the league, against a DL that surely has Trey Hendrickson, but nothing that jumps the eye after that. Kupp and OBJ — along with Sean McVay — seem to have found the perfect balance in terms of distribution of the ball. Cam Akers came back from a previously thought season-ending injury and he looks better than ever. CIN will need their secondary (and their LBs dropping in coverage) to have an absolutely perfect game for them to be able to stop the juggernaut of an offense. I cannot, with a sane mind, pick the Bengals on Sunday, although I love watching them play and I think they'll play the Cinderella role for a couple more seasons. I think Joe Burrow is for real and these Bengals will bring a refreshing 'change of the guard' in the AFC North.
