The Venice Festival starts on September 1, and will be opened by a new film by Pedro Almodovar, a master of color, dynamics and fantastic humor that is similar to the mentality in which I grew up. Maybe the long-lasting similar social system marked us as complementary, so this director is one of the favorites in my country, who is a proud leader of the best European films. I still remember being awake until six in the morning waiting for him to win an Oscar. I still remember watching "High Heels" in a small movie theater room, and I still have the sound of a tape in my ears, as well as the smell of gasoline. It has become dark in recent films, but the bright colors are still there. Even the interior of the rooms is similar to my country.
