The most profitable NFT gaming in June 2021. The number 1 NFT game in the Binance Smartchain. One of the top 3 winners of Binance Most Valuable Builder 2 event. A platform where 50% of transactions in the Binance Smartchain took place for some weeks. Lastly, a Binance Smartchain project where developers and its developments are very transparent for everyone to see - CryptoBlades.

Sounds like amazing right?

Well, currently, not anymore.

CryptoBlades is not the most profitable NFT game anymore. To be exact, you are not gaining anything anymore from playing the game.

Lots of new NFT games in the Binance Smartchain right now, and for sure, CryptoBlades is not in the number 1 spot anymore. However, it is still one of the game with most unique users/players.

Still remember the time when Binance Smartchain was very congested during the NFT hype? Well, CryptoBlades itself produced 50% of the transactions at that time.

But all of those positive things above, what really happened to CryptoBlades? Well, this article will be about it.

CryptoBlades' Downfall.

Since the NFT hype in June, CryptoBlades was indeed the most profitable NFT game. More and more people jumped into the game making the native token $SKILL of CryptoBlades jumped to nearly $200 per token from less than a $1 in just a week and making the rewards that was rewarded to players even more valuable.

And yes, if you were one of the early players of the game, and invested on it, your probably have already your ROI (Return of Investments) in less than a week.

But everything didn't stay like how everyone imagined it should be.

One of the mistakes of CryptoBlades is giving away 5 free in- game $SKILLs to every account created.

What happened?

Well, players took advantage of the free $SKILLs. Many players created lots and lots of accounts and gained those free tokens, used it to mint NFTs and sold it in the CryptoBlades' marketplace in exchange for tradeable $SKILL and dump it. Others used it have more NFTs in the game and keep on playing them for more rewards.

And since CryptoBlades userbase keeps on growing, $SKILL token keeps appreciating as well as the rewards, the developers decided to make the game balance by implementing the Oracle.

Here's how the Oracle works;

When the price of the token goes up in value, the players will recieve lesser quantity/amount of token as a reward.

But when the price of the token goes down in value, the players will more quantity/amount of token as a reward.

The Oracle that was supposed to balance the game, only made bad impact to it.

After the hype, fewer people got into the game. As time goes by, the price of $SKILL token depreciates that it goes down from nealy $200 to $80 per token. And with that, and with the implemention of Oracle, people/players think that it was an advantage for them to accumulate more $SKILL token before it goes back and break its all-time high value.

But unexpected things happen.

Cutting The Rewards.

The developers then realized that everything doesn't look great for the economy of the game therefore they have decided to cut the rewards for 50% - yes, 50%! But still, with the 50% reward cut, the game was still profitable at that time.

The game was still profitable, the $SKILL token goes down and people think it was a good time to create more/an account...not until the devs once again decided to cut the rewards for another 50%!

With what happened, it created FUD inside the community and even outside the game. Because of it, very few people took the risk to get into the game and spend money.

But as the time goes on, the price of $BNB (used for gas fee) goes up very high but the $SKILL token goes down drastically to around $40.

So what?

This where the real problems occur. Since the price of $SKILL token is continuing to go down, lesser people getting into the game and not enough funds in the reward pool to rewards players, the devs then decided to pause the work of Oracle then cut the rewards. With that, every time you play the game, you will be rewarded with a very few $SKILL tokens but you will be paying a gas fee for the transaction, a gas fee higher than the rewards. Making the game unprofitable and can put you in losses.

Currently, the price of $SKILL token is ranging around $18-$20. There are not enough rewards to cover the gas fee when playing the game. And the worst is, $SKILL tokens that was accumulated in the game is not yet withdrawable making more fear, uncertainties and doubts towards the game and its developers.

But, is the game dead already?

Answer: NO!

Is the game still worthy to jumped in?

Answer: Personally, YES!

Am I positive with the potential growth and comeback of CryptoBlades?
