Xantal's Mind (Original Poetry)

An obscure gathering behind a velvet curtain Depicting the hive mind for hidden treasures Secrets so deep nobody ever dared to unravel. Xantal was about to be evacuated Wounded soldiers marching by Bringing in new prisoners Celebrating the end of the war.   A generational battle causing souls to freeze Sending the blind into oblivion Crushing the ether with merciless chatter.   Was it all just a fantasy?
