Infinite loop of "happy new year"...

I find it hard to believe that it's already the third of December; within the twinkle of an eye the year has ended as quickly as it begun. Just yesterday we shouted "happy new year" in excitement, "goodbye to 2020 and welcome 2021" we all said on the 1st of January. Now the year is about to end and history is about to repeat itself once more; a history that will continually repeat itself till the world ends.

Generations upon generations will come and go while this cycle of celebration will continue; the new year anticipation will continually be a tradition, the fire crackers and sparks in the air, decorations and new year themed desserts in luxurious restaurants, spending time with friends and family, and bla bla will forever be a part of human history- an unending loop of events which we cannot break from, almost like we've been programmed to do this forever. Thus begging the question "what's the purpose of life?"

"What exactly is our purpose of existence?"

We've gotten so used to living our daily lives in a loop of unending events that we forget to ask ourselves the question of "why do I exist, why do I do what I do, why are we made, where do we come from and what's the point of life?".

I sometimes ponder on these things; what if I'm only a simulation and I'm meant to do the same thing over and over till my programming expires? I often consider life as being basically an infinite loop of eat- sleep-wake-repeat. Though you may argue that it's much more complicated but all things human is basically based on the eat-sleep-wake-repeat pattern.

In fact our daily activities of work here and there in a bid to make ends meet is solely based on the concept of trying to increase our finance so we can have enough to eat and a nice place to lay our heads in something called sleep while wake-ing up to a brand new day to repeat the same process every single day.

Reproduction exists as part of this cycle; we fall in love, mate and produce new offspring who are also subject to this unending loop called life without questioning the purpose of our existence.

Life is actually enjoyable until we begin to ask questions about our purpose, are we simply a simulation under a controlled environment and death is simply a removal or a change of one or more of the programming elements? What if we're simply super intelligent robots but designed in a way that we wouldn't be able to question our reality or existence because a robot is not meant to know it is a robot, and death is simply af a removal of our batteries by our designer the moment he notices a slight anomaly in our intelligence and our ability to question reality up to an atomic level.

"What if we're all robots designed to not notice"

Questioning our purpose of existence is actually pointless since the universe isn't ready to provide answers hence we can only soevukatenbut nobody really knows anything about existentialism and it's fundamental purpose...

We're gradually approaching a mew year which makes me constantly question if we are meant to do this forever; shout the happy new year thing on the first of January and merry Christmas on the 25th of December; makes me wonder if we humans aren't actually programmed to do this forever.

Just my random thoughts that makes no sense as usual....

It has become part of us to do that and I don't think we would want to stop it because it's a way to congratulate ourselves and look forward to a beautiful beginning again

I have often wondered why we repeat the same pattern year after year, but the truth is that I like it, I am happy, I love to meet my family once a year, to see my mother, to receive the money from my job and to share things and to travel. I don't know if it is a robot but it is in this month where I can do a lot of things really.
