An ambivert has a unique personality type that combines both the traits of an introvert and an extrovert. Ambiverts combine the calm nature of the introvert and outspoken nature of the extroverts depending on their mood and situation.

Apart from their unique personality type and the ability to enjoy the best of both worlds introvert and extrovert ambiverts also make wonderful leaders. This article brings you five reasons why ambiverts make wonderful leaders.

1. They have a strong sense of intuition

Ambiverts are very intuitive, this is more of their introverted nature at work. They're very observant so they can tell when there's a challenging situation around them also thanks to their extroverted nature, they don't shy away from the situation instead they brace up and look for ways to resolve the challenges thereby making them wonderful leaders.

2. They are politely assertive

Another unique trait of ambiverts that makes them wonderful leaders is their assertiveness. There's a thin line between being assertive and arrogant and ambiverts have the perfect mixture. Having extrovert traits makes them confident leaders who are not afraid to speak up at any time however their confidence doesn't transcend arrogance due to their introverted nature which makes them approach people with, respect thereby making them wonderful leaders who are confident and at the same time respectful.

3. They are empathetic

Empathy is one of the natural traits of ambiverts which is also one of the good leadership qualities. Ambiverts have the innate ability to understand the emotions of people and empathize with them. This is because introverts are great listeners, and a good leader is one that listens to his or her followers.

More so, their warm and cool nature makes people quickly open-up and connect with them and being extroverts that they are, they're also able to connect with people on a deep and meaningful level. Overall, a perfect blend of an introvert's listening ability and the extrovert's social ability makes an ambivert an empathetic leader.

4. They are focused

Like most introverts, ambiverts can free themselves from distractions around them. They thrive in solitude due to this introvert trait that ambiverts possess. They can stay focused on a task and avoid distracting situations thereby making them efficient and productive especially as leaders. They are excellent decision makers and problem solvers. Ambiverts are also great at solving problems.

Introverts are known to be mostly calm and even in intense situations. Due to this trait, most ambiverts can think critically about situations before making a decision. Simply put they're not prone to irrational behaviour and as such have a unique critical thinking ability that helps them make smart decisions and come up with solutions to problems. As a result, making them good leaders.

Conclusion

Overall, most people make the mistake of believing that only those who are socially inclined, extroverts can make good leaders. Ambiverts on the other hand are proof that a perfect mix of extrovert and introvert personality make wonderful leaders.

Side note: I've been going through mental stress for the past few days and depression has been my friend. Work has been stressful lately hence the depression. I have to write articles as well which is also choking. I need rest.

I'm going to bail out from work tomorrow with the excuse that I woke up feeling sick. I'd rather not talk about my constant depression to anyone at work or I may be considered weird. oh ..how I want to quit. I'd skip the rest of the story for another article.

Love that idea being intuitive cause you tend to have alot of dedication to our self, we didn't make ourselves immobilize from doing things, in short we tend not to shy.

I think I really don't have any quality that an ambiverts has. I am just too shy and too quite, I can only interact other people online. However i can say that ambiverts can be good leaders with those qualities.
