Flip The main difference between latches and flip-flops is that for latches, their outputs are constantly affected by their inputs as long as the enable signal is asserted. In other words, when they are enabled, their content changes immediately when their inputs change. Flip-flops, on the other hand, have their content change only either at the rising or falling edge of the enable signal as shown below. This enable signal is usually the controlling clock signal. After the rising or falling edge of the clock, the flip-flop content remains constant even if the input changes.

Fatal Then I ask them to make a list of their own faults. Most people can think of *one*. But I have seen them sit there and sit there trying to think of a second. Seldom has anyone come back to my office with more than four things on that list. We see twenty-seven things wrong with our spouse, but we only have four on our own list.

Unfailing *YOUR UNFAILING LOVE, LORD, is as vast as the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds. Your righteousness is as glorious as the mighty mountain, and your justice is as deep as the deepest ocean. Thank you for caring for people and animals alike with your unfailing love. Thank you for the shelter that I find in the shadow of your wings. I rejoice because your unfailing love is the most precious thing to me!*

Blurred It has been said that a picture is worth a thousand words. In today’s verses the psalmist uses just a few words to paint some dramatic pictures. With a series of metaphors this psalm describes some of the many blessings for believers because of God’s character: His ever faithful, ever loyal love is truly “out of this world” because it is so great that it reaches beyond the clouds and heavens. The Lord’s righteousness is as steady as the highest mountains, and his judgments are as deep as the ocean.

Let go Today’s reading includes strong words for people who are so concerned with how they appear to others that they neglect to take care of their character. Jesus directs his words at some of the Pharisees and Sadducees, but we can tell they are for anyone who focuses on life’s minor issues instead of being concerned about what really matters to God. As you read, determine to focus on what’s on the inside, instead of merely working on your outward appearance.

Art of listening The next time someone attacks you, ask God to take over your case, bring justice, and protect your reputation. Only he can deal justly with the offender.

K@Kondaira

Costly The passage also includes Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem (which begins the final week of his life); more parables about the kingdom of God; and more vivid criticism of the scribes and Pharisees.

K@Kondaira

Controlled It is easy for us to identify the failures of our mates, but more difficult to admit our own. When couples come to me for counseling, I often give each individual a sheet of paper and ask them to list their spouse’s faults. They will write profusely for ten or fifteen minutes. Some even ask for more paper.

Precious Appearing to be a Christian isn’t the same as being one. What’s inside your heart? Are you hiding behind a mask? Are you pretending to be a Christian? Are you covering up sins? Work on your inner attitudes and motivations and not on your image. Don’t be like the Pharisees. Don’t be a hypocrite.

Mental & Physical In my heart I do have a fear. . . . I long to grow more godly with each passing day. Call it “the fear of the Lord,” being in awe of Him and scared to death of any sin that would mar my life at this point.Anne Ortlund

K@Kondaira

Set When it comes to seeking genuine reconciliation with our mate, admitting our own failure is the first step.

K@Kondaira

Acquire Have you ever met someone who looked like they stepped out of a glamour magazine, yet whose attitude and character were as ugly as sin? It’s amazing how a person’s outward appearance can be so different from his or her character.

K@Kondaira

Guard your heart Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life. [1] (Bukal ng buhay) [2] (Everything you do flows from it) [3] (Aggapu kenkuana ti pagbanagan ti biyag) [4] (It determines the course*path* of your life) [5] (For out of it [are] the outgoings of life.)

K@Kondaira

Bought with a price Being falsely accused or slandered is inevitable, especially if you are living your life for God. But how should you respond to such an injustice? Should you defend yourself and fight back? Or should you turn the other cheek?

K@Kondaira

I'm okay *LORD, I stand in awe of you! I thank you for doing such awesome things, for working beyond my highest expectations. And you continue to do them for those who wait for you. Help me to wait for you with hope. Fill me with a holy expectancy of your coming, and glorify yourself through my life.*

K@Kondaira

Spread out God’s love is measureless. It is more: it is boundless. It has no bounds because it is not a thing but a facet of the essential nature of God. His love is something he is, and because he is infinite, that love can enfold the whole created world in itself and have room for ten thousand times ten thousand worlds beside.

K@Kondaira

Don't *Don't do it. Adjust and do it for the sake of others.*

K@Kondaira

Careful When almighty God “comes down,” he comes in awesome, majestic ways. So often, when we least expect to experience or hear from God, that is when he surprises us with his presence and his voice. That is when a breakthrough in a situation happens; the darkness lifts, and we see the light of day. Sometimes because of impatience or discouragement, we wonder if God is able to help us, and we no longer expect him to “come down.” But this passage from Isaiah encourages us not to lose the expectancy of his moving in our lives. It urges us to wait for God and calls us to remember that it is through his mercy, forgiveness, compassion, and the shed blood of his Son that we are even allowed to stand in awe of him who causes mountains to quake and nations to tremble. Before time began, no one has even imagined or seen a God like our God, who works on behalf of those who wait for him.
