Binance has introduced a new democratic approach to token listings with "Vote to List" and "Vote to Delist" mechanisms announced on March 7. Users can now directly influence which projects get listed on the platform, with highest-voted projects that pass due diligence being added. The exchange promises full transparency on listing budgets, with budgeted tokens distributed through airdrops. Projects conducting exclusive Token Generation Events via Binance Wallet gain direct access to the Alpha Observation Zone. For removing problematic tokens, users can vote to delist projects in the Monitoring Zone – targeting inactive communities, lack of development updates, or tokens posing significant risks. Binance has also expanded its listing framework with options like Launchpool, Megadrop, and Pre-Market Trading (which now has no price limit restrictions). The exchange believes this community-driven approach will create greater value for users and project teams while maintaining compliance standards.
