How to know if your husband respect you.

How to know if your husband respect you. Research professor and author  Ph.D, says, “To respect is to understand that the other person is not you, not an extension of you, not a reflection of you, not your toy, not your pet, not your product. In a relationship of respect, your task is to understand the other person as a unique individual and learn how to mesh your needs with his or hers and help that person achieve what he or she wants to achieve.” To show respect to your wife, show interest in her life, her thoughts, and her emotions. When she speaks, listen, and be willing to work out compromises that consider both of your needs and that work for both of you. Ask how her day was, and let her know that she's appreciated. Learn her love language and make an effort to communicate. When she's upset, nervous, or pursuing something new, ask how you can best support her. Whether your spouse is always playing on their phone, they are spending all of their time on hobbies and activities, or they spend their time with their friends exclusively without you, if your spouse does not make time for you, they do not respect you. Your spouse should take the time to spend with you in conversation and activity alike. Spending time with your partner's family may not always be the most fun activity, but in a healthy partnership, both people should be happy to support each other by attending family functions as a team. It may not seem like a direct sign of disrespect, but if your partner leaves you to attend family gatherings by yourself (without good reason), that shows that they don't care about you enough to "inconvenience" themselves for a short while. "This is especially noticeable during the holiday season," Lavelle says. "Regardless of how your partner feels about your relatives, it is responsibility to support you at family functions." There’s nothing more satisfying than knowing that your partner loves and respects you. However, respect can sometimes be more difficult to foster than love – it can also be more important. Love with no respect turns into an egotistic relationship, which would never last for very long and will definitely end in tears. In a conversation with your partner , have you ever had the feeling that you’re just talking at a brick wall? If your partner makes you feel like that, that’s a sign that they don’t respect or care for what you have to say. A committed partner listens carefully to you.
