Jennifer was married to a man for last 3 years. She dreamed of a wealthy life. But being only a poor staff her husband couldn't give her that. But he was a good man and loved her very much. He also knew how to show respect towards his wife. But Jennifer was not happy enough because her dreams always chased her.
One morning they were brushing their teeth and everything started to change that day. He told her that that day was his friend Pete's birthday. His friend had invited both of them. She agreed to go there and they took all the preparations to go.
In the evening, Jennifer wore her best dress and David did so. When they arrived, Pete's mansion really impressed her. She was holding her husband's hand but she thought of living in the mansion. The place was as luxurious as her dreams was.
David was in the other side and Pete came to her. He himself impressed her too. When he took her hand and kissed on it, she was over the moon. He admired her that she was gorgeous. Jenni thanked him saying that she loved getting compliments.
And the affair began that day. He wanted to be closer but she asked if her husband saw them. Pete told her to forget about him. And they were having a comfortable companion's time. The life changing story began that moment.
Pete could give her the life she always dreamed of. He took her in the most luxurious restaurants, offered her the best menus. He had the most expensive car and often they went long drive. Jennifer was enjoying her new life in the absence of her husband. But she wanted to reveal everything.
Soon she decided to leave her poor husband and move with Pete. That day she packed all her stuffs and was about to leave. Then she told her husband that she was leaving for her rich lover. She also remined him that he would never amount to do anything for her unlike Pete. Her husband became shocked as he didn't know anything and without letting him to question, she left.
But after she moved in with Pete, the woman got the shocking news. She was having a strip test and it showed that she was pregnant. She became anxious and thought that it couldn't be possible. She thought what to do but was confused to execute.
Then she met her friend and told her that she was certain that the baby was not Pete's. In fact, it was her husband's baby. Her friend got anxious too and exclaimed that she had got herself into a big mess. She asked her what she was going to do. Jenni smiled and said that she was going to tell Pete that it was his baby as she was not stupid.
Pete believed the cunning woman when she said it was his child. He took everything normally and was ready to meet his child. Jennifer also tried to forget her past and put it up with Pete's wealth. She acted as if she were such an innocent woman in front of him.
And then after several months, her son was born. She was in a luxurious cabin in the hospital. Pete happily took her her in his lap for the first time. He was happy with the boy. But time passed and Jennifer realized that fairytale life exists only in fairytales.
One night Pete returned home and asked for dinner. All the night Jennifer had to hold her son and so she couldn't managed to cook. She told him that she had no time to make it. He got angry and ordered her to do better.
This continued for several years and another twist was revealed. When her son was 4 years old, she got some unusual messages in Pete's phone. She learned that Pete was cheating on her. She got shocked and exclaimed he was a traitor. But she put up with it for the sake of his wealth.
In the morning, she made his breakfast and woke him up. She cleaned the house, buy groceries and also washed his clothes. She did everything as if nothing had happened. She behaved happily with him and he successfully tried to hide his cheating.
One day, their son, Jack was playing on the floor. And then Pete and Jennifer had a huge fight. He was shouting at her and she forbade him not to yell in front of the child. He raised finger at her and told her that he knew how to raise her son. Jennifer burst into anger and told him that he was not even his son.
Pete was shocked at this. He asked her if she had been lying to him all these years. And kicked she and her son out of the house. In one moment everything fell apart beyond repair. And from the luxury she and her son had to move in a broken rental house. She told her son that they had to stay in a rental for that time.
That's when she remembered her ex-husband. She phoned her and told him that it was she, Jennifer. She said that she really needed to talk to him. And he agreed to came. Jennifer finally got a straw to grab again.
They met in a restaurant. By that time David achieved professional success and didn't look like his former self. She became astonished at this and told him that he looked great. He smiled and said the same thing to him and asked why she had called him. So, she told him the truth.
David listened her carefully. He said that if he was his son, he would be helping him and stay in touch with him. And this time Jennifer hold his hands and asked what about her. She suggested that maybe they could start over. She said that she still loved him and smiled.
David got angry and got rid of her touch. He told her that she had made her choice a long time ago. He told her that he was engaged and he loved that lady. He said a sorry to her. After the conversation was over, David left.
He kept his words and was present in his son's life. In every weekend he and his new wife came in an expensive car to Jennifer's poor rental house. They never went in her home but took the son in their car and went away to spend the weekend with him.
Jennifer only stood in the doorstep. She had made so many mistakes. And the price she paid for them was loneliness.
