I made an diy incubator and kept 12 eggs in it . When i candles eggs at day 14-15 this is what life looks like inside the eggs ! You can even see the embryo moving ! I shared about the incubator that i made with a cardboard box last day . Today as day 20 for the eggs this is what i see when i opened the incubator ! Damn its getting out ! . So i took a look around my backyard and found this tank like structure , not used for many months. I cleaned it and put up papers , plastic bags etc and then i placed a transparent thick sheet into this tank like structure. This is larvae or maggots of black soldier fly. maggots can be made in our backyard very easily with just our kitchen waste. I have been breeding this black soldier fly for past one and half year. Very sad that two of my hatched chicks died . I had kept a little water in a small tray . After hatching these two chickens directly stepped into it . Even though the water level is very less i think it was enough for them to get hypothermia . ☹️ .... I immediately took that tray out and kept glasses of water instead ( the water is to control humidity inside incubator ) . The third chick is very active and walking all over the box , it's getting dried up and fluffy too .

As i live near beach , underground water contains a lot of iron content. As the water is rich in iron its natural color is yellow or dark brown . Its very hard for us to drink iron rich water . Also white clothes tend to change to yellow color after a single wash. So at this point i looked into youtube and made a water filter for my tank with charcoal . Now the water is crystal clear !

My mighty rooster and other beautiful hens ! The rooster weighs about 3.6 kgs ! As i feed them daily with black soldier fly larvae . I make these larvae from kithen waste. So i am able to feed both my hen and fishes with this high protein meal . This protein gets them to grow very fast and makes them gain weight !

Bird feeder ! It's very good to hang this kind of bird feeders in your backyard it attracts a lot of variety of birds. It benefits them very much . Try to hang a bird feeder with feed in it and also hang one with water in it. Sadly , the only one " lucky " who was 3 days old and was very active passed away just few minutes ago . I am so sad that i couldn't help it . As i kept it inside my room in a brooder box with lights on to keep it warm .... My family was very attached to Lucky in this short period of time.
