𝕂𝕒𝕡𝕖 𝕋𝕙𝕠𝕦𝕘𝕙𝕥𝕤 (Long post ahead) Allowing your 'friend' or even your best buddy and relatives to use your ATM card or bank account information is never a good idea. Despite the fact that you believe they can be trusted. Why? Here's the story. My roommate/friend recently started a new job in October 2020, and she asked if I could enable her company to transfer her pay into my bank account until the ATM card she had applied for arrived next month. Of course, as a friend, I consented because she told me that it would just be a month. Even if I left our filthy apartment, she was still depending on my bank account. She makes excuses all the time, claiming that their Accounting Department works from home and that changing the account number on their payroll is difficult. Surprisingly, she got to the point where she handed out my bank account information to other people without my permission when she borrowed money to them. Quiet amazing right? She's now trying to contact me again. I decided to withdraw all of my funds from my bank account, including the maintaining balance, in order to have the account closed automatically. Yes, it's hard but if this is the only way for her to stop using me, I'm fine with it. #RandomThoughts
