KILOMETER MARKERS I was scrolling through my camera roll and found this. I suddenly remember what my Dad taught me when I was in fourth grade. I was an inquisitive youngster back then. I'm always asking questions, mostly odd ones but sensible (I think). Hahaha! Have you seen this while traveling? You will notice that there are two sets of numbers in the photo. What do they really mean? Is there some sort of formula that goes with these numbers? Like... I wanna be your "Tulay" but 9.8 m/s2 is Silent. NO! Hahaha. I'll tell you how it works. K 137 – 137 Km away from Luneta Park (Kilometer Zero) LC – Next Town/City (Lucena City) 7 – 7 Km away from Lucena City If the KM Marker is on your right it means you're moving away to Luneta Park (Kilometer Zero). And if the Marker is on the left side of the road it means you're going towards Luneta Park (Kilometer Zero). But is Luneta Park the only Kilometer Zero point we have in the Philippines? No, every island has its own that's because we are separated by waters. So if you ever travel to the Philippines and in the unlikely event that your phone dies and your GPS stops working, these markers could possibly save your life if you ever get lost. It saved mine once.
