Topic: Indecision
Indecisiveness is a matter when people have to think a lot to make the right decision in a task, but the right decision is not made. This is usually called indecision. We are familiar with the term indecision. Knowing how to make the right decision is more important for those who often have to make a variety of important decisions. There is more or less indecision in the process of taking big important decisions. We've all run into this problem at some point. Some may be less, some may be more. Many people suffer from indecisiveness or often make wrong decisions due to not having confidence in their ability to make good decisions, and not knowing the basics of making good decisions about anything. These problems are more common when making important decisions.
We face many problems every day. We have to make various decisions to overcome these problems. Not all decisions are always correct. We often make wrong decisions and this creates negative thoughts about ourselves. Again, even in such situations, even if the decision is 100% correct, the result is not in our favor. Taking a few things into consideration when making a decision will increase your chances of making the right decision and increase your confidence. As a result, you will be able to make decisions quickly
Let me talk about 10 tips to take right decision at right time, which will help you to take right decision in your life.
1. Setting goals:-
Many people jump into decisions without considering exactly what goal they want to achieve. If this is the case, the chances of wrong decisions increase. Now many people may say that, without knowing the goal, does anyone think of making a decision?
It is true that people have a purpose in mind when making a decision. But often that purpose is not clear. It is important to be clear about the goal or objective to make the right decision.
Let's give an example. Remember, David has just finished his studies. Now his aim is to get a 'good job' and earn 'good amount of money'. It is certainly a purpose – but not clearly defined.
Now imagine, David got a good job, and got a good salary. But after a while it became apparent that he wasn't enjoying his work, and that he wasn't learning anything new from it – so that he could improve. Day by day his needs started to increase, he got married, had children – but his income did not increase accordingly. As a result, the money that initially seemed like a good salary, now started to seem like very little. After so long, Asad realized that he had made a wrong decision. So that you can understand it easily – I have chosen a common example. But not having this clear goal or 'clearly defined goal' is responsible for every wrong decision.
Now, how to set clear goals. Means to solve this problem. Let's go back to Asad. His goal was a good job and good salary. But if he had set a more specific goal, he could have made a better decision. For example, what kind of job does he really want to do, what kind of organization does he want to work in, what does he really want to learn from the job, and exactly how much money does he want to earn from it – if he had considered these – then he would not have been in danger later.
Maybe he came out studying English – in which case he could use his education – he should have found a job that he enjoyed doing. It was also necessary to calculate the exact amount of salary needed to live comfortably with the family today and for future financial security. Maybe he needed to earn around 50 thousand per month. Due to not doing this calculation, his decision to start a new family is also wrong. So whatever you decide, for what purpose - decide it very well with every detail. Then making the right decision will be much easier.
It is very important to keep goals and objectives in line with any decision. If the decision you make is contrary to your goals and objectives, refrain from taking it or consider alternatives. If the goal is right, it will be easy to make decisions.
2. Have confidence in your abilities:-
Always believe in yourself. Confident people can make better decisions. If you have confidence in yourself, you can think more deeply about the problem and make the right decision. Be confident in making yourself a good decision maker. Always think you are a good decision maker. Your confidence can make you a better decision maker.
3. Taking the advice of the wise:-
Wise people don't take too long to make a decision. And they don't have much trouble making decisions. So we common people can take the help of wise people to make difficult decisions. Consult a good friend or consult an expert if needed: A good friend or an expert can be consulted to check whether the decision you have taken is correct. This will gradually increase your confidence
4. Do not overanalyze:
Of course, there is something to be analyzed, but be careful not to delay in making a decision. So avoid over-analyzing in making snap decisions and make quick decisions based on your previous experience and knowledge. Over-analyzing a good idea will make it disappear from the brand.
5. Avoid making impulsive decisions:
Decisions taken on impulse are often not the right ones. Therefore, decision should be made by understanding the situation instead of emotional desire. Also, no decision should be taken out of anger or against the will. This makes the outcome much more likely to worsen.
6. Taking the right decision at the right time
It goes without saying that thoughts change over time. In this case, the matter of decision should be divided into two parts for convenience
a) Immediate decision
b) Long term decisions
We always have to move with the power of instant decision. What will I buy, what can I do today, what will I say, etc.
And long-term decisions are important things in life, including career and marriage.
In both cases, one thing to keep in mind is future planning. Decisions need to be validated by two questions: Where do I see myself next year, and where do I see myself five years from now?
7. Learning from mistakes:
Every mistake in human life is a lesson. It is important to learn from mistakes. Care should be taken not to repeat the same mistakes. Repeating the same mistake is not fundamentally a mistake, it is a habit. That will destroy you. So you have to learn from the previous mistakes and decide on the next work.
8. Creating a mindset of accepting results:
Making a decision is a matter of courage. No matter what decision you make, be it office or family, you must have the mindset to accept the consequences. Otherwise you will be mentally disturbed by wrong decision and you will show weakness in any subsequent decision which will hinder your social image and success
9. Make decisions For future
Instead of taking decisions for the present or the moment, decisions should be made that will be good for the long term. It will be beneficial for the future life. The present time is very short so decisions should be made thinking about the future
10. Keeping alternative options handy
It is better to have two options when making a decision. This will make you feel comfortable in making decisions. And if the first one fails, success is obtained by applying any of the following methods. If plan A does not work, there is a possibility of plan B. So we always have alternative decisions.
Final Thought
A good decision can change your life. Therefore, a decision should be made with a little thought in any work. If you suddenly take a wrong decision, you may not get success in the work. Just as good decision can change your life, a bad decision can destroy your life. So we should make the right decision while making a decision. But do not suffer from indecision. If there is no decision for fear of making a wrong decision, then it will be a big stupidity. If you make a wrong decision, you can learn from the mistake. So it should be remembered that it is better to make a wrong decision than to be indecisive.
