We have a great routine for lunch at work within my department. We're 6 people including the boss. So we first have lunch for about 20-30 minutes, then go to the coffee shop at the first floor of the building to have black/green with some biscuits, have nice chat there for another 20-30 minutes before coming back to work. Today 2 of my collogues are working from home due to illness (1 was negative, we're still waiting for the result of the 2nd one); 1 had some business to take care of so didn't have lunch, 1 brought his own lunch from home, and the boss went to lunch with other group who he's in a meeting with (yup that's a 3 hour long meeting lol) As a result I ended up having my lunch in just 10 minutes and then sitting there like a dummy :D But then I went out for a walk for 20 minutes because the weather is so nice now: 18 degrees Celsius, dry and mild breeze. Oh and also i can post this because technically it's still lunch time :D How is your daily lunch at work? You buy food or bring from home?

I almost always bring a lunch. There is pretty much always something leftover to eat, and of course it is an economical thing to do.
It's 100% economical! I'm just a bit lazy to bring food and also tbh the price / quality (and quantity) of food served at the cafeteria is quite good
I always look at it in terms of a cost breakdown. The batch of beef stew I made yesterday cost me about $10 to make, and I will get at least 3 meals out of it, making each one about $3.33. It is hard to get something out for that. I can't knock what anyone else does though.
Great story! I got my laptop collected today for a software reinstall. So from 11h to 13h at least I won't even have a computer to work on. I guess it's coffee time again, lol
Haha that's good to have that 'forced' coffee time :) I actually didn't have for almost two full days on the day I started. They were out of stock and the new ones were delayed so for 2 days i din't have a laptop too. It arrived at 5pm on 2nd day only ;)
