So The Merge is almost here, huh! My preparation was close to zero as I barely had any ETH coins. Only 0.02 wETH on Polygon chain. So I wanted to move it the mainnet just in case there's a split into new fork (basically free coins in a new chain). I found this great bridge tool hop.exchange for the transfer. But unfortunately the Ethereum fees aren't low enough right now. So, no thanks, I don't wanna pay $7 for a $37 transaction

  Thanks for that post, I'm already onto it :) I bookmarked it before, but didn't have the answers to the questions ready :) Also, that chance is so slim that, i'd prefer a tiny bit airdrop proportional to my holdings, rather than hoping for that. But will still try haha. Thanks again
