This morning a security SMS for my WhatsApp got me worried for real. Not because someone tried their chance at hacking it maybe by Sim swapping, but because of the data breach email I got from Google yesterday (https://noise.cash/post/l245g3j6). In fact my suspicion is that the threat could come from combination of the two. Maybe first try to receive the code, then use the breached app/site to access that code somehow. My relief is that my WhatsApp has a two step verification too

Seems like that. But I'm sure it's only a portion that's not critical like passwords. Somewhere some site got breached or sold the data
