Yesterday I did't complete my Daily Quest on #Splinterlands on purpose. That is my new strategy to save time and do more economic renting. Here's the reason. According to my theory, if you just login today, the timer for the next DQ will be triggered. As a result, technically you can do 2 DQ in a row without waiting. Obvious benefits are time saved, plus a good chance of renting the same/similar deck for doing 2 DQs. So i've spent 106 DEC today to do my LIFE quest and climb from Bronze-2 to Silver-3 for better rewards. In just after 6 battles (5win/1lose) I completed this quest. Got a complete rubbish from chests. But that's not a problem. Because (1) I'm so glad I stopped at 15k CP and didn't spend more to reach higher leagues (I had 1660 points), (2) I've made +55 DEC only from the first 6 battles. (3) The next DQ is the SNEAK quest which I can still use my freshly rented Life deck to complete it and farm more DEC. UPDATE: finished the SNEAK quest too just now. Got 2 rare cards :D Total DEC earned: 154 (means at at +48 DEC after rentals and still got about 20 hours to make a use of them)

Thanks then :) Yeah i've spent an awful amount of time grinding daily quests and trying different strategies. Most didn't work out. This one so far seems to work (also because I was lucky to get snipe quest after Life). Already at 96 DEC profit (10 DEC left for breakeven). The truth the game has changed in a way that Bronze league without quest potions isn't actually worth spending too much for it. I've tried Silver-2 and up to Silver-1, the difference is in rewards is so litle compared to Silve-3 that it's not worth renting CP just to be high in those ones. Maybe except the final push at the end of the season.
Smart play, that's exactly how you get ahead in the game with strategies like these. If you apply similar brainpower to building a card collection that you own over time, you won't have to rely on renting anymore. Good luck reaching higher grounds and with the rewards!
Thanks a lot. Unfortunately I don't have a clear vision about the card collection strategy yet. But recently I'm leaning more towards exploring the 2nd and 3rd levels of existing cards. That means I have to buy a level 2 or 3 summoner though
indeed, the problem that brings about is that daily quests can become really hard if you grind your way up with a higher level summoner having to complete a quest with a lower level summoner. It used to be worse in the past when there were no sneak/snipe quests. I would say make sure that the summoner you choose allow completing those
