After #Rplanet boom in early 2021, staking became a very popular way of attracting new players for games on #WAX. It sums up lazy ass wax users of whom the majority are flippers or passive earning hunters. Nothing wrong in seeking passive earning systems, but not before reading the whitepaper of a project you're investing in. Anyway, I saw many "projects" abuse the term and bring people in. Some were honest trying to earn time during their development phase. Some were not, when the project was doomed to fail anyway the devs put their shitty tokens on Alcor for staking their useless NFTs. Anyway, Tales of Crypto is respected collection IMO. They also saw that none is interested in collections purely for digital art. So here we are, they just launched their staking and probably a game will follow up soon
