Recently, we have banned the purchase of plastic bags in markets, due to the "preservation" of the environment. One bag cost $ 0.018, and now, although it is prohibited, you can buy it for $ 0.26 if you have not brought bags or plastic bags that you have collected so far. I bring my bags, because it is not in my mind to pay so much and it looks like this, as in the picture below. It is ridiculous and sad how they steal ordinary people, because in fact every product is wrapped in the same plastic foils, which are perhaps more difficult to degrade than ordinary ones.

Ironic isnt it? We need to pay for it yet thr products are in the same already. Anyways we paid for the bottles too and we can recycle it to become others container.
your right dear, its hard to eliminate the used of plastic coz basically almost all the products are wrapped in it. maybe the companies should find ways how or think of innovative ways to alter their packaging with a biodegradedable one. Supermarket should provide a free ecobag to their loyal customers. The one that can be reuse for long years and not papers that can melt when the rain caught you in the parking lot.
I can say from the experience of our country about plastic bags, in 2004 the production, purchase and sale of plastic bags was completely banned in Bangladesh. At that time, for the first one or two years, plastic bags were not available in our country. Then the use of jute bags, paper bags, cloth bags increased a lot. But after one or two years, the use of plastic bags started again in the market and it continues to this day. And if we talk about stealing from the common man, then it must be said that it has been going on for ages and will continue because there is no one to cure it.
So the same story everywhere.
