Checking on what to write today, I came across a news on nairaland, the event happened last week.

The news said that a man killed his parents because of blasphemous comment against his God.

You read it well,

A man used pistol and shot his parents because they said bad about his God.

He did what he did without remorsefulness and according him, he did the right thing and his God is happy with his action.

Look at what he said in a video;

“I killed them because they refuse to accept the truth concerning the prophet Muhammad (S.W.A). I killed them because they abused the prophet and their punishment is death, there is no repentance for any person who abused the Prophet.

“I am a praise singer for the prophet, this year I intend to do a video for my song and God willing, I will do that, I will be free because God is with the righteous person, that is why I am not worrying over my action,” Mr Ahmadu said in a video recorded by the police.

“My parent doesn’t (don’t) like the prophet Muhammad because I adore him, they called me a mad person, I pleaded with my father to support my work (praise singing), and I told him that I don’t womanise, I am not a gambler, I don’t do drugs, and I don’t steal, but he refused to.

“My mother used to go to neighbouring towns to blackmail me, telling people to reject me whenever I came to sing praises to the prophet because I am mad and I refused to work on the farm.

“I am now in police custody because, by human thinking, I did a wrong thing but in the sight of God and the Prophet what I did is the right thing,”

I'm not here to judge whether it's a good religion or not but what do you think? He happily killed his parents just to satisfy his believe.

My boss once told me how his parents used to call him names because of how he's devoted to Church. They used to tell him to cut down his activities with Church because it seems God has forgotten him. They said all manners to him, they went far to call his God deaf God. So he would have killed his parents because of all those words, right?

I have heard that some certain religion supports Killing, infact when you kill, you'll have a special place in heaven... it's fine but don't we think we are being too religious in this world?

How on Earth would your God be happy for killing your own parents? Thinking about it makes me sick💔.

I went to read comments on the news and alot of people voiced out their opinions such as "The God you're serving should be able to fight for himself and not you fighting for him"

We had a similar issue last year that caused a mini war in the country. A student was killed because she said blasphemous words against their God.

Now just imagine, if you have a child schooling in such part of the country and heard that your child has been publicly killed because he/she didn't agreed with Terms & condition of their God. God forbid!

We are too serious about religion and it's one of the major problems we have in the world today. There are things that shouldn't make sense to you even if your Religion support it.

Like me, I'm a Christian but I'm not blindfolded by some doctrines. I do the things I'm okay with and my conscience is clear with.

I don't know why people are okay with some certain acts of religion even though it looks so inhumane.
