Elijah's return or reincarnation

Yes Christians Prophet Elijah after going to heaven with his body and soul in **2** **kings 2:11** came back as John the Baptist. The bible spoke of Elijah being sent ahead of the great and terrible day,which are the last days in **malachi 4:5.** He came back to earth to be the forerunner of Jesus because the bible has it written that there has never been a prophet more powerful than him **Matthew 11:11-14.** That was the sole reason why he went to heaven alive for the task ahead.
